9 Joab said to Amasa, Are you well, my brother? And Joab took Amasa by the beard with the right hand to kiss him. 10 But Amasa did not notice the sword in Joab's hand. So struck him with it in the body, shedding his bowels to the ground without another blow; and he died. So Joab and Abishai his brother pursued Sheba son of Bichri.
