¹⁰ So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did as the Lord had commanded; Aaron threw down his rod before Pharaoh and his servants, and it became a serpent. ¹¹ Then Pharaoh called for the wise men and the sorcerers (wizards and jugglers). And they also, these magicians of Egypt, did similar things with their enchantments and secret arts. ¹² For they cast down every man his rod and they became serpents; but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.
